Week Thirteen

Week Thirteen

The design which would go over the CD in my digipak was the next part of my digipak which I was going to design and for this I chose to create the face of the clock with a wooden background around the outside to give it a homely and more relatable theme. I started by getting an image of a clock face off of the internet and as a result of this I knew that I had to warp and edit the picture enough so that it could not be recognised as the original image and was instead my own. I started by creating a wooden background. This was done by drawing a rectangle with the shape tool and then applying a filter over the top of the shape so that it made it look like a wooden floor. Once this was done, I took the image of the clock and cut out the hands as I wanted to make it seem that they were moving very quickly. I achieved this effect by duplicating the image many times and rotating the hands so that they were at different hours on the clock. After this, I adding a shadow and added a motion blend onto the images to make it appear as if they were moving very quickly. The final touch was to add my filtered cloud effect into the shape which I had created in previous weeks to make it visually pleasing. This can all be seen in my CamTasia below which reflects what it is currently looking like.
