Analysis of a Music Video Director

My research into a music video director was key to the research stage of my task as it has given me ideas of what makes a music video good to view, and which conventions and techniques I can incorporate into my video in order to make my video successful and reflect other directors and videos. I looked into the director Jonas Akerlund and what he has done in his career, and how that has made him a well acclaimed music video director. I feel as though this knowledge has helped me build up an idea of what generic conventions help to make a video successful and what leads to a video being well acclaimed. From this, I can then take away what needs to be in my video and what ideas assist a video in being memorable.
